Has anyone ever used the producers group for appointments? If so how long does it normally take to be appointed? Is it better to go directly through each individual company? I am a life, accident, and health producer in S

What type of insurance will you be selling? For life insurance, many carriers will not appoint you directly and will require you to go through an IMO. This is not true for other lines such as individual health.

Like Steve said, it all depends on the LOB you're focusing on. If you give us more info we can point you in the direction of some good uplines/IMOs.

For the most part with those lines you will want to find a good IMO. Definitely do your research and find one you will enjoy working with.
