Can I Still Get my Insurance License and Be Appointed with a Carrier with a DUI

Can you still get licensed to sell car insurance in the state of florida with a DUI charge? One that will be permanently off record in less than 6 months time (first time offender).

I don't know about P&C but someone I know looks kind of like me got a DUI in California in 1985 a has life and health license there non-resident. That same guy was arrested twice misdemeanors PC148 Resisting / Interfering Arrest around 1983 & 1984. He was able to go to court six times and beat a marijuana conviction misdemeanor and that's legal now. Oh, and whatever documentation you have keep it even if you move 20 times over 30 years because it is a pain in the a** to try and get it again.
