Commissions and Renewals on Med Supp

Just curious what the commish would be on
a quality Med Sup.
Renewals?

They are all quality carriers.

Renewals same as FYC

Most 20-22% a few are little lower 16-19% and AARP I believe pays $17 or $18 per month

For someone new to Medicare, On Plan F, call it $27/month 1st year, $13.50 renewals. Of course, zip codes and age determine the exact number.

Here in California, "base" commissions typically are 20% 1st year, 10% renewals for life. This would be with Anthem Blue Cross, and, Blue of Shield of California. Production determines your exact commission structure. I'm stilling getting 10% renewals on business I wrote 30+ years ago. Of course, most life companies cut commission off after 6 years.

Thats just the blue's . I have written a lot of AARP some other companies in CA that dont pay way
