Erie agents question

I work for an independent agent who primarily deals with Erie. I have a bankruptcy from 9 years ago on my credit report. Apparently Erie is selective in this area. Anyone know if a nine year old bankruptcy chapt 13 that did not include any insurance would affect me from getting licensed with them? Appreciate any advice.

If you are a producer under the Agent's agency you should not have an issue. If you are looking to start your own agency, you may have an issue with many carriers. Kind of depends on what the bankruptcy was for and the amount
