Finally Getting my License Now What?

My story is a bit long that's why I tried to keep my question so short. I did go through Bankers first and because of some issues with my background check, my license took a year to get! Anyhow, I'd given up on the whole idea, until I suddenly got this call that I'm getting my license from the DOI. Now, I've forgotten all the training that Bankers gave me, their products, etc.... but have a license now. I read so many bad things about bankers on this website that I've decided not to join them. So what is a good company to start with? Thanks

What state are you in? I'm a P&C guy with a LA&H license. My advise. Go to work for the carrier with the best training in town. NYL or NWM. Then leave in a year. Call on an independent P&C agency and try to go to work within their agency. Unlimited client list usually completely untapped.
