OK, A long-term, like 25+ years, the client left a message with one of my companies that she can not get a hold of me. Turns out she was texting my landline. Anyway, We got the business stuff, Some quotes, and a term conversion letter, out of the way and she started telling me about her trips to the casino and how her kids want her to stop driving because she can not see very well. On one of the last trips up the hill she said that some guy got impatient with her driving so slow that when he was finally able to pass her he lowered his wind and yelled "get off the road ya old bitch". She said being old she just stares straight ahead and acts like she can not hear. She's laughing and got me laughing to the point of crying. Then she starts on how to go to a further casino she takes one of her Exs because even though he can't hear or walk to well he can kinda see better than her. She is probably pushing 80 and has a southern Black lady accent so as she is telling me all of this and giggling I am dying.

We all have or had those PIA clients, in my case it is very few now. I only want people I enjoy speaking with.
Some of these calls are fun.

All of us have PITA clients that will waste time that could be used for productive purposes . . . or self regeneration. I have a few clients that take up too much of my time but many are just lonely and need someone to listen, so I indulge them when I can.

Others, a few, are a PITA and I do my best to discourage them from calling. A couple come to mind and finally got the message and stopped calling . . . they get their spouse to call and ask the question.

Same. By PIA I mean more the demanding or perpetual lapse and billing issues. However, I haven't dealt with much of that in a while. I do have a few that call to chat or check in with me. I try to return those as I am driving somewhere or am playing on the forum. I really do like the majority of my people. Most, like this lady, I have multiple policies and family members with.

In her case she is just a character. On the term conversion letter it is on one of her grandsons that "can't keep his wiggly in his pants" and since we just paid a claim on her boyfriend she wants to use that premium towards a little policy on her EX. She is always good for an afternoon little nip. She is a trip.
