Hello...."Prospect Name" or No Name?

Ok, here is what I'm running into. My script pops up and it populates with the prospects name. I'm new to begin with so I have the butterflies already.

When an easy name pops up the intro typically goes pretty well. When Louiselle Grietzn pops up on my screen but a man answers.....the wheels come completely off and it goes south real quick. :goofy:

Perhaps I just introduce myself and come back to their name later? I having a hard time getting a consistent intro due to their names.

How do you guys approach it?

I won't lie: if you mess up somebody's name, they will literally never buy from you. Don't mess up somebody's name. If you can't pronounce it, you are better off calling them by their first name. If you can't pronounce that, ask for their spouse by that person's first name. If you can't pronounce that, either 1) make the phone call for experience of learning how to pronounce names or 2) move on. Because I personally gurrente you, if you mess up their name, that prospect is gone.
