HIPAA Plan in GA (how Do You Get It?)

I'm quite familiar with the HIPAA plans in Florida and help clients get them all the time, but I cannot figure out how they would get a HIPAA plan in Georgia.

Do they need to call the carrier directly? I was under the impression that it's a lottery system in GA and they are assigned to a certain company. But can an agent still help them apply?

I should know this but I don't. We wrote one several years ago and I can't remember how we did it. There are several guru's on here (somarco, etc) that will probably answer your question shortly so hang in there!
