Illinois 2018 Health Insurance Landscape.

The State of Illinois has published the ObamaCare health insurance companies participating in 2018, and the counties for each company.

PDF: http://insurance.illinois.gov/newsrls/2017/09/2018IllinoisRateAndPlanAnalysis.pdf

Note: McHenry and Lake Counties will only have Blue Cross.

I think the information provided in the PDF is incorrect.
First of all on Page 16 it says that the lowest bronze plan in 2017 in Area1 was with Celtic (ambetter). How come if they didn't sell bronze plans in 2017.

Secondly the premiums for 2017 are not real, e.g.

Page 16
Rating Area2 HCSC $242.37 but the real premium is $269.30

Page 18
Rating Area1 Celtic $221.13 but the real premium is $210.54 with CIGNA

Remember everyone, if you have STM clients that expire at the end of 2017, offer them the opportunity to buy a 2018 ACA plan BEFORE the December 15th deadline.

Don't wait until (for example) December 20th to contact them about obtaining another STM, only have that client ask you about potentially getting an ACA/ObamaCare plan. At that point, it's too late.

The last thing we want to hear is, "Why didn't you tell me before the December 15th deadline!?!.. I now have XYZ Medical Condition! The State Insurance Commissioner will be hearing from me about your unprofessional conduct, Mr. Agent!"
