Insurance Agency Funding

Hey everyone!

I’m a very experienced P&C agent in FL, and was wondering what the best way is to find my new agency?

I currently don’t have capital.. what do you recommend.

my understanding is FL requires a storefront for you to operate an insurance agency. Is that still true?

If I did not not have the capital to fund an agency - I would not start one. Especially in Florida.

I dont know anything about the Florida agency requirements - but opening up a Storefront just to sell insurance seems like not a good use of money when you can start one virtually, at least to start, these days.

It's tough to get new appointments even as an agency in Florida...If you have the discipline and motivation, I would consider bringing you on as an agent.
