The PPO thing makes sense, I’ve never thought of that. The RX wouldn’t work in my state, because unless you are FBDE, Medicaid won’t cover meds ( qmb etc doesn’t cover meds but can have dual plan).

So your saying if a person is qmb their getting extra help from the gov’t on their rx’s and are still getting the $1.80 and $3.60 type copays that a 100% lis person gets? But your saying Medicaid won’t act as a backstop for a qmb plan like a Fdbe plan in your state thus the rx’s must be in formulary or they won’t be covered?That does suck . A lot more work for you as more qmb and qmb plus than Fdbe

That is exactly how it works here. Everything in Louisiana is a little screwy.
