Tyvaso Covered Under Part B or D?

Anyone know if Tyvaso covered part B or D?

I don't see it on medicare.gov I thought it would be covered under B as nebulizer med but the prospect said he was told that this is not considered nebulizer by medicare

Is it used in a nebulizer? If not, then I would assume it would be filed under Part D.

Look at Page 4. I think its "one of those" meds.

Have him ask the doc who is prescribing it.

Also, a speciality pharmacy who dispenses it.

If neither of those can help, ask the doc for the drug rep contact info. Call the drug rep, they always know how to get the gov't to pay for their drugs.
