You will have to jump through hoops before we consider accepting it . . . and you might have to fork over up front cash . . .

We accept a wide range of insurance plans . . . however, we can begin the insurance verification process immediately by obtaining your benefits information and contacting your insurance provider.

After we obtain your insurance policy information, we will conduct a preliminary check to determine how your insurance plan benefits might work and, if possible, schedule an appointment

If we were able to confirm how your benefits will work at City of Hope and you are interested in coming to one of our hospitals or Outpatient Care Centers for a consultation or to begin treatment, we will schedule your initial appointment.

Most insurance companies require pre-certification prior to coming to City of Hope. Pre-certification involves pre-approval from your insurance plan for specific services. Our representatives will attempt to complete the pre-certification process on your behalf.

City of Hope will bill your insurance plan for treatment you receive, and you will be responsible for any co-pays, coinsurance or deductibles and amounts not paid by your insurance plan.

@Yagents you can add this to your "hold the Mayo" list of providers . . .

Is this the CITY OF HOPE in Duarte,Calif?

They did. It used to be Cancer Treatment Centers of America. May not have chosen the greatest name. But I will say, getting treatment there is top notch.

When I saw the locations and glanced at their site, I wondered if there was a CTCA connection.

Top notch is correct.

Thanks for sharing!
