I have some questions regarding list buying and I'd like to hear from those please whom buy lists of names, addresses, and phone numbers to smile and dial.
I have never bought lists, although I am familiar with the pricing and the content. That type of stuff is more geared towards life agents seeking high net worth clients, mortgage brokers, investment advisors, etc. than the general run of the mill individual health insurance agent.
I'm curious why some mail houses charge under $100.00 for a thousand names, addresses, and phones numbers, while others charge far more than that? I'm talking double Plus some???
The industry standard is .10 a name. Your best bet if you want quality information and are willing to pay for it can be found at Sales Genie.
One of the reps. of the mailhouses told me they pool from a more 'comprehensive' data base.
Bull$#$#! You can scrub the list yourself with the help of software and save yourself money

I thought if somebody registers on the 'do not call' that's it. It will apply to all 'data bases.'

I know I'm missing something here. If you know why there's a price difference and could please recommend questions to ask these mail houses when calling, I'd greatly appreciate it.
What demographic are you targeting (e.g., small business owners, seniors, etc.?)
Who do you use, if you don't mind me asking, (if you use a mailhouse for names, addresses, and phone numbers only to buy a list from to call).
