Sti, I went with SRC too. Have sent out direct mailers and called over 100 of my leads and either no one is interested when I call and no one did any surveys. I am sure the mailers went right into the garbage can. Let me know how it turns out for you with the refund. I paid $500 for 300 leads with a guarantee of $1600 on each batch of 100.
Seems like a local GA I was working with 3, maybe 4 yrs ago, had a similar deal. Same kind of thing. Cheap life leads through ValPak (or something similar). Can't recall exactly, but I believe he bought maybe 1000 leads and resold them at his cost to his sub-agents in 100 lots.
I called, and called and called. Bunch of disconnected numbers, never requested, dead (or close to death) and quite a few very angry people.
He refunded my money. Can't recall if he got his back or not.
As far as I know, nobody sold anything in that deal (other than the lead company of course).

Just from reading these post I don't think they ever did....but I don't get the 2 year old posts deal....maybe you're reading the "join date"? I think so.
When I started my career with MetLife in 1993, my agency manager gave me five hundred free leads. It was a list of 500 people who had purchased a home one year prior. He told me get on the phone and offer them a life insurance plan to pay off that home if they died.
It actually worked as I sold life insurance - but it burned me out completely as I burned up the phone line day after day. I cannot imagine attempting that today.
[quote=STIBROKER@AUSTIN.RR.COM;65540]here it is from their site....but I think they are counting on the agent not going through all the trouble or not validating the grt. by calling all the names and taking notes.....
I wouldn't trust these turkeys----they can't even spell "inaccurate" correctly!
A funny story to keep this thread going...Fri. & Mon. morning when I got to my office...I scrolled through my phone to see if I had any missed calls...I had 2 different numbers but both had a 305 area code...I was wondering ( since I'm in California ) Who the heck is calling me from a 305 area code ??? I did a reverse search on the number to find out who it was & they both came up Florida...1 had no info & the other said it was a plumbing service...Earlier today I got an mail from an Andrew Price stating they had $2 leads but you had to buy 200...I tried finding out what the Company was & when i typed in the 800 # at the bottom of the email...The reverse search said it didn't exist...Now I was even more curious so I tried doing more research & FINALLY it came to me when I Googled the phone number...Only 4 things came up...Nothing about the Company but 4 different chat threads about them...
THANK GOD I FOUND YOU WONDERFUL FELLOW AGENTS, THIS FORUM & THANK GOD FOR GOOGLE !!!
