I received my first email about 2009 MAPD plans. It was talking about Cigna's new MA and MAPD plans. It sounds like they include dental, vision and hearing and it listed hospital copays as low as $30.
Anyone had any dealings with Cigna?? It said available in 28 states.
I had a contract through them with Coventry when I was captive with GASB. Have no idea about their service because it all went through GASB. IB did release me when asked though.
I almost went through them but then I found a better deal. They seemed legit but who can tell? Ask for a release, aka pre-nup, before you sign a contract.

To be truly independent, an agent should not be dependent on a government bureaucrat for contracts or commissions.
It will give agents a chance to get appointed and certified before the rush begins. I'll post a link tomorrow to access the full power point on their 2009 roll out.
Here is our current CIGNA page. Check it tomorrow and their 2009 information will be up.
Yes, CIGNA does pay direct. They haven't released their commission levels for 2009 yet, but they've committed to be as competitive as the other MA companies.
