What do you mean Ron Paul take over the Republican Party? How does any one man take over the party?
I think Ron Paul is an excellent Congressman and would make an excellent Senator. He is too isolationist to be a good President.
On another note, his son is running for the Senate here in Kentucky and while I don't agree with his isolationism, much the same as his father's, he will receive my enthusiastic support in the primary and I hope in the election. His opponent in the primary is a typical Republican insider and we certainly need to cast those off. The way to do that is to support good strong conservative alternatives (that's plural), like Rand Paul, and help that group take over the party.
