Aetna Underwriting Turn Around Time

Ok, normally I do not post underwriting experiences but I was just impressed with Aetna's turnaround time on my last case submitted.

I submitted an online application for a family of 6 the morning of the 27th. They are all pretty healthy, just a couple of minor conditions on the adults. I submitted on the 27th and they were all fully approved on the 28th!

Less than 24 hours for turnaround?? Nice!!

You hear all the bad things about companies, maybe we should share some of the good as well.

I agree that Aetna is fast. When they use the online link, it flies through.

Even paper apps are pretty quick compared to most other companies.

Agreed. They're online process is less than 48 hours.

my last case with Aetna, a healthy 29 year old, took over a month in Underwriting-no medical records, nothing extra required.

Maybe it's a regional thing...

Heaven fobid they need medical records. It's up to the client to get them.
