Will someone PLEASE point me in the direction to a GOOD AIG and West Coast Life contract? I recently left New York Life as a captive financial professional after 2 1/2 years to start on my own and looking for top commission contracts! THANKS!

Others might disagree, but the general rule of thumb is to go direct with the carrier whenever possible.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you look for these top contract while with NYL. I'm with NYL and I have contracts with AIG and West Coast that pay me 100% with 9 month advances.

The ONLY time we were allowed to write business outside of NYL was when a client got rejected by NYL underwriters. Then and ONLY then could we turn to BYSIS to try and capture the business, BUT the commission was no where near what you said yours is. How long have you been with NYL? I know a couple of people from Michigan with NYL that I met after making Executive Council.
