Probably would have voted for Obama if Acorn had given me a ride to the polls and a couple free food stamps but they arent around.
I turned the debate off last night before rigor mortis set in. McCain was promising another trillion up on top of the current one to pay for everyones mortgage, and there was his opponent, someone who pals around with terrorists and whose spiritual advisor goes to Libya to see Ghadaffi with Lousi Farrakan. Some choice.
Now here is something else that is scarry. Right below McCains name on the ballot was Cynthia McKinneys.
Spend it like you got it.

You may want to go a LOT farther south than TJ unless you're going to be hiring your own bodyguards!

Now this is ridiculous. DO you really think if you continue to repeat this crap that eventually people will believe it, or have you really swallowed this crap?
Really, it sounds like you've gone to Jonestown. Should we be concerned for your mental health?

The whole situation of the Presidential election is a pitiful, pathetic mess.
We're in the worst financial straights in what, almost 80 years, and McCain wants to spend another 300 billion to buy people's mortgages.
Obama wants to spend God knows how much on God knows what - any problem the government can "fix".
It's like these two morons haven't figured out that we are in the financial mess we're in today - because of policies like these.
I underestimated. This country is in a LOT bigger trouble than I thought.
Good luck to our kids, and grandkids - they're gonna need it!

McCain, Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc...
We're a debt driven society....far from how our parents or their parents were raised.
I believe last year Americans had a negative savings rate for the 1st time.
Of course, you can get 40 credit card offers in the mail but can only put "X" amount into a IRA. We have set this country up to thrive and operate on debt.
Now...we can't get into a 500 page post but do a little homework and you'll find out that debt-driven societies eventually collapse.
I'm not saying that America will collapse but we're certainly getting our comeuppance.
I read someone (sorry, lost the source) that over 75% of all Americans could not go 3 months without pay.
We need to get out of this IPod, Plasma, SUV society and move into savings.

My parents - not rich by any means - bought things with cash. Want a tv? No cash? No tv.
Now we NEED everything. We NEED a $1,600 laptop (mine's an Acer - $450 - works just fine) we NEED a new SUV and NEED a big-screen tv.
Hell - if you don't have the big-screen TV and people come over just IMAGINE what they might think!
How insanely insecure we all are is just mind boggling. Now...if you have it, spent it as long as you're saving. You want that plasma TV - bringing in the big bucks? Go buy it.
But as Palin would say "Joe six pack" buys these on credit before substantial savings.
Ed McMahon is losing his house? He's the poster child of exactly what's wrong. One injury and he's basically BK.

The only real disappointment was McCain's response to the question, "Will things get worse before they get better?"
Why didn't the Straight Talk Express say it like it is?
The answer is (most likely) yes. We haven't seen the bottom yet. Don't think we will for at least 6 more months if then.
At least Mac had the ability to show a little bit of humor when told it was a yes or no answer to "Is Russia the evil empire?"
He said, maybe with a grin.
A little more humor and straight talk might have scored a few more points.

Okay, well let's examine the facts while you are dismissing it on the basis of my mental health. Here is what I said:
"someone who pals around with terrorists and whose spiritual advisor goes to Libya to see Ghadaffi with Lousi Farrakan."
1) Obama associates with Ayers who is a confessed bomber of the Capitol Building and elsewhere. Obama says he barely knew him. The evidence is otherwise, and Obama even wrote the forward to Ayers book. Obama launched his political coming out party in Ayer's living room. So that is a fact.
2) Wright has been Obama's "spiritual advisor." Obama's words -not mine. So that is a fact.
3)Farrakan heads up the radical, anti-semite Nation of Islam. Obama's church gave Farrakin a "lifetime achievement award. That is a fact.
4) In 1984, Wright and Farrakin traveled together to Cuba and then to Libya to meet with Ghadaffi. That is a fact, clearly documented, and openly agreed to by rev. Wright and well known to his church. That is a fact.
So if I am repeating Jonestown lies or this arises from a mental health issue, you let me know where I am going wrong here. It could be that that all of that Acorn-financed Kool-Aid is taking its toll over in Camp Obama. Tell me what part of my statements do not hold up so we can all see how the liberal mind creates denial.

So you're ok with guilt by association.
1. Obama was eigth when Ayers was doing his ****.
2. You're definition of paling aorund is very loose.
3. He has disassociated himself from wright and has denounced farrakan.
4. An implication of your statement is that obama supports libya, black nationaists and terrorist and that he is unamerican and of treasonous heart.
But since you are ok with guilt by association, let's look at your team:
Palin: Credit the laying of hands by rev. muthee as helping her win the gov. race. Muthee, while laying hands spoke of protecting her from witches. Muthee got his start by leading a witch hunt against a woman in kenya. He is a witch doctor.
A guest speaker in her church, video shows she was there and didn't leave in protest, David Brickner, the founder of "Jews for Jesus" told the congregation that the terrorist attacks on Israel were "God's judgment"- of Jews who have not embraced Christianity.
So, Palin's spiritual leaders are witch-hunting anti-semites.
Now McCain.
McCain served on the board of the US Council for World Freedom. When he became a member the Anti-Defamation League has already said 'has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites.'
Other members of this little group included Klaus Barbie, a former Nazi, Manuel Noriega former Panamanian warlord, and Pinochet.
McCain has ties to Nazis, anti-semites, right-wing death squads and holocaust deniers.

Actually, I think a "strong working relationship with a domestic terrorist" is a better description than "palling around with a terrorist"
As for the eight year old, the attitudes have not changed for Ayers. And he has had a strong influence Obama's political career.
