Another company that I am seriously considering is American Family Insurance. I have an interview set for next week. Does anyone know what their "starting rate" is? Is is totally commission only at first, or do they offer a draw that you may/may not have to pay back like Farmers? Or do they offer a small salary + commissions at first?

I assume they offer a draw and commissions. All companies have state specific insurance rates, if I were you I would call around and price your own coverage with some different companies. American Family might be competitive in Ohio and they might not. It won't help you if they aren't.
