Average Commision % on FIA/FA?

Just curious what they are at street level or so. I've only been contracted through NAA for annuities before so I have no idea how much I was leaving on the table. TIA

The national average for IAs is 5%-7%.
For FAs its around 4%-6%.

Thanks. That's what I remember them to be about when I was with NAA so apparently there's not near the overrides there are with life insurance.

It's all relative......losing 1% can be a large amount of casheesh.

That is very true, sold several annuities over the years. It makes me mad how much money I have lost.
