As you have most likely seen in the press, we announced yesterday that the FGL board of directors has approved a transaction pursuant to which CF Corp. will acquire FGL at a price of $31.10 per share in cash. Sponsoring this transaction along with CF Corp. are the founders of CF Corp., Chinh E. Chu, and William P. Foley, II, and funds affiliated with Blackstone (NYSE: BX), and Fidelity National Financial (NYSE: FNF) (FNF).
