Amen. "Reliable," "honest," "trusted," or anything that replaces an "s" with a "z." Insuranceleadz.com could be the best lead source on the planet and I'd never know.

It reminds me of something I bought the other day that said it was unbreakable on the box.
I broke it the same day I bought it..

Re: Any Feedback on "Reliable Telemarketing" in New YorkGo to Top
This is the feedback I've gotten on this marketing outfit so far. I remind you, this is second-hand information.
They want $750 up front to "provide" a list of about 5000 names that they will set the appointments for you from this list they have somehow acquired. Then, they obviously follow-up with the potential client to see if you sold anything and charge you an additional $100 for any annuity you might have sold or $50 for "other" products. How many preset appointments this will be I'm not sure. I got this feedback from 2 different agents.
One of the agents assured me that in the state of NY you have to be registered as a "telemarketer" of sorts in order to do business. He checked and they were not registered at all in any form.
One of the agents told me that they have an extensive list of AIG annuity clients that they where going to be contacting to try and change them over to a different company. This sounds just a bit shady and may even constitute getting the state commission involved if they do this.
Once again, don't take this as "gospel" because I have not spoken with them myself and can't give you 1st hand knowledge. The only thing I know is that I will be staying away from this!

They spammed me the other day and then wouldn't tell me where they got my email address from. So, I have it out for them now LOL. I have been telling everyone that they spammed me. Dirty spammers LOL.
I figure if you are going to spam me you should at least have the common courtesy to respond to my question when I email you back? Maybe I am old fashioned, but they made an enemy in me.

If any one has found a honest lead company let me know. I don't know one agent that has not been burned. I don't trust any of them, they always give false information and lie lie. What do they have to loose they have your money already.
Re: Any Feedback on "Reliable Telemarketing" in New YorkGo to Top
In New York, you DO NOT have to be registered to telemarket. I know this because I had a call center in NY. They do charge per closed deal. So obviously if you closed the deal, you let them know and they bill you. If you did not close the deal, they contact the customer and verify, and the lead is free. They accept checks which is big to me because they can't charge your card for services you never received. Also, they charge monthly, for the previous month after initial set-up. So you will already have been paid on most of these deals before having to pay for the lead. They set 15-20 appointments per week for you and all are face-to-face meetings. I'm going to try them out and will post my results. I asked for references and got 3 numbers in diff states and all were very happy with their ROI. ( I know it's possible to have fake references ) I sell mainly health, and I was told that I can specify my list to small businesses of 5 or less, in any county I choose, and the appointment will be made at the place of business.

Getinsurance this was the kind of feedback i was looking for. Thank you. Its easy to say they look like this or smell like that etc...but i think as professionals on this forum we owe it to each other to share the true experience we've had. Opinions are great but they are just that..keep us posted.
Re: Any Feedback on "Reliable Telemarketing" in New YorkGo to Top
I spoke with them today, actually. I like the business model, but not crazy about the 750 upfront fee. Seems like I could provide my own data that they could call and just bill me for the 50 bones per closed transaction.
Not going to pull the trigger just yet, I want to see what others here have to say from actually using their service.
Re: Any Feedback on "Reliable Telemarketing" in New YorkGo to Top
Weird, I was told 50 dollars per closed sale and that fee was waived for the first 30 days. I don't recall any mention of anything that was 75 dollars.
Re: Any Feedback on "Reliable Telemarketing" in New YorkGo to Top
It will be $100 for every annuity sale. If that is the case then why charge the $750 up front.
Texas insurance guy, I understand your frustration. I have spoken to these people 3 times and have received different answers every time.
The 1st person I spoke to said that they would waive the per close deal because of the $750 first month set up fee.
The 2nd person I spoke to told me that they would want proven production before they would do this.
The 3rd person I spoke to told me that they had never heard of waiving the first month "per deal transaction."
In conclusion I would say that if the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing; then stay away. I personally will not be sending any of my business there. I hope this helps..........

That is concerning that 3 of their own people have given 3 different responses to their program.

My source tells me the $50 per closed sale is for FE only. Also you guys had mentioned only paying this fee and not wanting to pay the monthly. I have not personally worked with telemarketed final expense leads but i would think it would be tough for them to be profitable only recieving the $50 closing fee right? To get an agent 15 good apointments per week in FE telemarketing that would require how many hours? I would think at least 15-20, maybe its way less but doubt it..what do the hours vs leads generated looked like in this FE market?
