Reside in the great state of Tennessee! The name comes from how many bluemarlin I have caught. I do fish quite a bit in Florida but the big marlin are off the coast of NC and Hawaii. My largest is a 500 lb that took 3 hours to land in 3-5 foot seas, what a day that was! backing down on that fish was a wet affair.

I am addicted to largemouth bass. I take my fishing pole with me on appointments. If I pass a place that looks like good fishing I will stop for a half hour.

Trout fishing with flies, communing with nature and most definitely catch-and-release. I love the scenes from A River Runs Through It of the fly fishing in Montana. I can't cast a fly worth a darn, though.

I've never hunted duck, only deer and small game.

I love to fish, but I'm not particularly good at it. I only get to go out a couple times a year when my buddy who knows his stuff will happen to give me a call.

Well I like to hunt and fish. That is where I meet alot of clients on big fishing or hunting trips. My favorite is Deer. I especially love making my yearly trip up to our friends in Canada, great trophy bucks out there. Deer meat is the best, better than beef.

I love to fish and hunt. Hunt mostly quail, pheasant, deer and elk. Fish mostly stripers, largemouth, smallmouth, walleye, tarpon and sailfish.

Just got back Sunday from 5 days of tarpon fishing in Boca Grande Pass in Florida. Every year my two boys and I go down there in June to catch tarpon during the migration.

The weather really screwed us up this year. We hire our guide from sun up to sun down and fished in 4' rollers the entire time we could get on the water. Those are rough seas in a 23' Ranger. Fourteen hours a day of that will just about wear you slick.

The two largest we caught this year went about 140 lbs and 180 lbs. Caught several between 80 lbs and 110 lbs.

Since our fishing was cut a little short this year by the weather we are going to go back again this year at the end of June for three days. We are hoping to get at least one around 200 lbs.

If you've "never been there, done that" it is a must for anyone who really loves to fish. Tarpon from all over migrate there to spawn. They say the really big ones, 200 lbs plus, come up from Costa Rica. They all leave the pass the first week of July, spawn and go back to where they came from.

Frank,
Boca grande is one special place. My last trip there we had a 150# on and as we got it to the boat a huge hammerhead, locally named "Hitler", bit the fish in half. For those that have never been, to see that many tarpon in one place is amazing, as is the"Navy" fishing the pass. We usually stay on Captiva at South Seas, but goin to stay at Little gasparilla next time. The snook, trout and redfishing is awesome and fishing from the beach can be great for pompano as well as shark fishing at night from the beach.

I thought shark fishing was illegal. How much does it cost to get the permits, etc. to so I can get a Great White Shark head.

In all the times we have been there, we have never seen a shark take a fish but have heard all kinds of stories. I have seen videos and it looks spectacular.

We stay at the Innlet on Gasparilla Island. Our guide picks us up at the dock there so it is real convenient.

I agree, the snook and redfish are fantastic. This year we had a tough time though because of the weather. Didn't get a chance to do anything but fish for tarpon. We have never tried shark at night. We go out at 6 am and don't get back in until around 8 pm. We will now though.

We have always gone during the hill tide. Although it is fun fishing the pass with the "Navy", we really enjoy going off shore fishing with crabs on spinning tackle.

Love to fish and would love to get into bird hunting in Delaware. Everyone here is into deer hunting though.
Best fishing I have ever done was in Alaska. Killed the salmon population in 2004 went back in 2006 and caught only 1...we were too early. Going again in 2008.

You should come down to Louisiana for the Tapron Rodeo. Great fishing. A few of my buddies talked me into going out one night at 3am to go fishing for Bull Reds. So we hopped in my boat, 35' Donzi w/3 225hp, and went out into the gulf headed towards some of the closer oil rigs(Bull Red Heaven). Once we got out there it was awsome, we were tearing it up the guys working shift on the rig wanted in on the action so they sent down something like a bucket on a long rope and we put a few in there and they were happy. Here is a picture of my boat parked in Cocodriee, Cajun Cancun.
