Hi healthagent
Just got off the phone with one of the owners Ed Rice. The company was started 2 years ago and changed websites. He told me he and his partner left a big national agency and started their own. Heres what he told me on the questions
1) Humana, United Health Care, Blue Cross, Imerica, American National & Assurant - Aetna pays only 18%, the rest pay 25%
2) Commissions are paid directly to the agent
3)Yes, can release at anytime
4) Ed told me I do own my own business, no quotas, nothing, no weekly meetings and no pressure from them- basically he said I could come and go as I pleased, and that he and his staff would even close deals for me to get me started
Said his agents are making 2k a week - and most of thier training is geared towards e-apps - where I can write from the comfort of my owm home which is what I'm looking to do. Right Now I get 80% on life and have to work nights and drive miles to show up and the clients are not at home. He told me they would give me the first 50 leads free to get me started and if I produced $600 a week in health premiums I would get 10 exclusive leads that their marketing dept calls the week prior. This sounds great to me, I really dont need the pressure of someone breathing down my neck - I want to work when "I" want to work. Even if I dont make the $600 a week to get my 10 exclusive leads- making 120% on life policies and 25% on health paying 12 months in advance is pretty tempting to me. Ed was real cool to me.
Can you help me out and suggest anything else I might need to ask? Thank you so much for all your help!!!
