I investigated the program and declined to go ahead based on the following:
They require a $500 deposit before working their leads, AND they pay you only 70% commission, AND these are their customers so you can't work them down the road, unless you put the business through them.
A 15% closure rate seemss to be a stretch for internet leads. I'd always be suspicious that they were filtering the leads they sent.
I could stomach putting down the $500, but not when they can knock me out for a sub 15% closure rate, or vice versa.
What did entice me was that you could use their quoting/application/processing system. Never got into it, but assumed that it was pretty slick. Get a sig, turn it over and move on.
I would also assume that they probably have more leads then their call center can handle. Hence, they are going outside. Too bad they take this one-sided approach.
