I have been using dialer leads for the last several months. Make contact quickly - best results are within 48 hours.
I have just shown up at the door with a copy of the lead in hand. Calling seems to work just as well though if you prefer that approach. My leads have been contacted by area code so they tend to be a little spread out at times.
Electronic dialing has been illegal in California since July. I spoke to the FCC on this and he assured me it was illegal to call from within California to Californians but if dialed from outside of CA, it would be more difficult to prosecute. I won't take any chances and I've seen some dialer companies in their ads listing the states that they won't dial in to due to this new law. There is a caveat though: If you have a live person on the line when the recipient picks up the phone to tell them the type of call it is and give them a chance to hang up. Obviously this defeats any benefits of electronic dialing to the masses.
