Re: Is anyone going to the dahammm Convention (National Agents Alliance) (NAA)Go to Top
I built a downline in a matter of months and even flew out of state for a weekend. My upline feted me at meetings. Then the bottom fell out after the hurricane and my upline couldn't support me and took my downline when I went to another MP company that would give me free leads. All the leads were lousy and no one in my area can sell MP. Is there a real estate boom in your area? Why would you sell to a dead market. I went to the senior market - easy.

"People who think they know it all really annoy those of us who do"
I almost fell into the traps of NAA, but thx to this forum I was able to escape.
I want to be independent and sell Term, Disability, LTC, and final expence.
What would be the best companies to sign up with in OH/KY?
THX
For LTC I like MetLIfe, John Hancock and Mutual of Omaha.
For Final Expense, Forethought, Oxford, Royal Neighbors and Cincinnati Equitable (for guaranteed issue cases) would be a great line up to have. Also Shenandoah, Americo, Monumental, Chesapeke are pretty good. I can give you good contracts with Forethought, Shenandoah and Cincinnati Equitable if you want.
For Term life, sign on with a broker that offers all the top ones like Banner, West Coast, AIG, Genworth etc. Senior Market Sales is pretty good with that.

Wow! The markets not down here. I don't know where u guys are located but in LA there are 2 guys over 60 making $130K + per year with NAA. Surely anyone can make over $100K selling any type of insurance.

OK folks.... let's stir the pot a little.
I've been contacted by Sean Loomis and what he's told me sounds pretty good. He gave me this site, www.naasw2.com to review and it doesn't tell me much.
I've spent about three hours reading this thread and I'm still confused.
The biggest gripe I'm hearing is the percentage they are paying.
I might consider adding naa to what I've got already. I sell the dreaded Aflac, LTCi, Life, Med Sup's and PFFS.
Why wouldn't I want to add their products and use their leads to cross sell ?
Hank.
Sorry folks..... I needed another post so I could start PM'ing.

OK....you go into mid income households at night because they just closed a mortgage and tell them they have a undetected disease and they need to cover this with a non~medical mortgage protection plan(life insurance) at double the rate of underwritten life insurance and you are out the door to the next sucker....then in 3 months the people wise up drop the plan and you owe back the money they gave you so you have to double your production to cover fall offs.... any questions....

But I'm not this kind of agent. I understand what you are saying, but if I sit with a client I A L W A Y S do what's in their best interest. No smoke.... no mirrors. I don't care where the lead comes from, I'm going to show the client the products that will do the job the best.
You can't think of one time that the product may be good ??? How about their annuity programs ????

I started giving the clients a choice: Fully underwritten or Home Certain. Most decided to take the exam and most got preferred. I got lambasted for going Saver select and that was when I knew they are all about the get paid quick and don't look back method. Then they talk about cross-selling and it's all about the customer not about you. The contradiction was glaring.

Someone posted some good companies above. I use ForeThought and United Teachers for FE, UTA, Aetna and BC/BS for Med Supps, Aetna, Humana, Celtic, BC/BS, and UHC for Individual health. My life line-up is AIG, Fidelity Life Association (good guarantee issue), TransAmerica, West Coast Life, Genworth and ING.
My life upline has proprietary software that is like Quotit except for life. The apps can all be done online, the client either signs online, or the paramedic gets a signature at the time of the physical. Kicks butt!
