Hey, DUDE, you also misspelled no (know) and too (to). Try using capitalization. Philip's (spelled with one"l") last name is Hudgins, it is not 'huggings." That's what my girlfreind does to me constantly.
BTW is English your fifth language? This is a professional forum----straighten up and fly right!

Oops, excuse me....I just noticed you're from Kentucky. That explains it!

Has anyone worked for (or is now with) NAA? A friend and I have been looking into the offer they are making out of Dallas, Tx. I have seen some comments in this forum but I haven't seen the question asked straight out.
If you previously worked for them or are with them now I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

I signed on with NAA/Dallas as soon as I was licensed. I knew nothing about insurance sales. An acquaintance introduced me to NAA.
You will learn that NAA promotes Old Mutual and Foresters mortgage protection insurance. It is a very overpriced insurance because it is a non-paramed issue (simplified issue) policy. That means the client does not have to give blood and urine to get the policy. It also means that the client accepts a standard rating with a table D rate up. In short, they will pay double the rate they would pay if they took out a 30 yr term policy with a paramed from any number of top rated life carriers.
Another point, the expensive leads are crap, to put it simply.
Save your time, reputation and money. PASS ON NAA!
Check out Brokers Alliance. They will help you with your appointment with good carriers. I am not sure about training but they are there to give you advice. In most instances you can send in your carrier appointment paperwork with your clients app. You will be appointed long before the app clears underwriting. Expect about 8 weeks to get a client approved and their policy issued.
I would sincerely recommend you look into individual health insurance sales as a cross sale. Health issues faster than life.
Good luck
Phil
I was with the NAA at one time, and I can say, you will find good and bad in every organization. I suggest you do more research before you decide to join them.

The new dog is Mutual of Omaha. I tried it but didn't have much luck with their leads. If you like meetings and a 55% contract its ok but be ready to do 300 dials a week. This week their top producer did over $59,000.
Re: Is anyone going to the Convention (National Agents Alliance)Go to Top
I really appreciate the feedback. I am forwarding it to my friend and I don't think we will be moving forward with NAA. My main seller is final expense so for now I will just stick with that.
