Hello,
I am living in the State of GA. At present I have Delta Dental (High Plan) Insurance for my family offered through my employer.
- For 2015, I am looking at other options for Dental coverage
- I have done some research about dental industry offerings, compared plans offered by several companies
- Researched information from NADP - National Association of Dental Plans
Looking for:
- In the past I have had Dental insurance that doesn't have Yearly Maximum limits (a simple treatment can exceed the annual limits in a single visit)
- Prefer No waiting period
- Plans that are very clear and provide upfront details for all treatments including:
1. Checkups & X-Rays(Diagnostic Procedures)
2 . Root Canals (Endodontics)
3. Cleanings & Sealants (Preventive Procedures)
4. Gum Treatments (Periodontics)
5. Fillings & Crowns (Restorative Procedures)
6. Dentures & Bridges (Prosthodontics)
7. Braces (Orthodontics)
8. Tooth Extractions (Oral Surgery)
9. Implants & Veneers (Cosmetic Procedures)
10. Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics)
Kindly let me know:
- Is it better to continue for 2015 with my employer offered Delta Dental insurance ($1500 annual limit) and get supplement (additional) coverage through individual plans or Don't enroll in employer offered Dental insurance for 2015 and get individual plan
- Limitations of Discount Dental Plan and situations when a high out-of-pocket expense may occur with discount plans
- What Dental Insurance and/or Discount Dental Plans you suggest
- Any additional suggestions?
Thanks!
