I just canceled my All State home and auto policies. I've had them both for four years. After experiencing rate hikes (some big, some small) each renewal I decided to shop around. I found an auto policy for approximately $325 LESS per sixth months, even though I increased each coverage level and bought the towing and rental package. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I started doing some reading online and read that Allstate has taken some huge rate increases each year and more are on the way. Auto insurance costs are rising everywhere and eventually, but it's nice to be behind the trend for at least the next 6 months.
Are Allstate agents seeing a lot of last business or has it not happened yet?
