Haven't posted in awhile because I've been so busy and wanted to update this post.
HealthGeneralAgent.com now offers contracts with Humana, Aetna, Assurant, United and Coventry for health insurance.
As well as Life and Medicare products.
With the option of Advanced commission on most of the major carriers.
The advantages of going the
GA route are numerous unlike what the great uninformed "Sales Mentor" Rob Liano states.
- Training. I personally give you individual 1 on 1 training. Doesn't cost you a dime. I would venture to say I have written more apps than any of the Sales Coaches or Association starters combined.
WE also offer daily webinars for additional training.
-Commission - You WILL NOT get a higher contract if you go direct. For example: United starts you at 15% with the ability to go all the way to 22. We start you at 20 with the ability to make more.
-Contests and Incentives - You don't lose out on most of the contests the carriers run but we also offer additional contests, trip, bonuses, and compensation.
In my opinion it's absolutely ridiculous to go direct. Once you go direct you are stuck with that carrier. If you go through a
GA like myself you can always go back to direct or switch to a different
GA.
