Anyone else a little "miffed" by the new structure for commissions? I use to get 15% on Travelers/Unitrin with 12 - 14% renewals (minus a 20 dollar policy fee) Now they switched as "they" said to make it easier from accounting and to level off their insurance for the entire country (bs) but now Travelers paying 14%, Unitrin 12%, Safeco still at 15% and renewals took a major hit dropping to 8%/8%/9.6% respectively...what are these guys doing to me?!? I started target marketing DUI's and then they gave me a HUGE haircut on my core product with Unitrin specialty, my rates couldn't be beaten and now I'm crushed.
