Church Van With a Twist

I got a call from a church looking for auto ins for their van. The van is registered as a passenger van and owned by a congregant not the church. Only used to pick up and drop off members for services, no private use. Not marked up with church name or information.

Personal Policy or Comm Auto - probably an easy question but it's late/tired. Thanks!

It can't be the church's vehicle if they don't OWN it??

Assuming your client is the church, there are ways around this, but I'd have to refer you to an attorney.

Owner and church need to do a lease agreement and add it to the church's commercial insurance policy with the titled owner as an Additional Insured and Loss Payee at minimum.

The church must have access to an attorney?
