Lead Closing Ratio: Captive Vs. Indy

I would say that it should make much of a difference. I don't sell on price.
 
I have been holding a 49% closing ratio for my auto & property sales for a year now. These sales are from all sources & my target was 35%.

Is this above the industry average or should I be shooting higher?

My leads are strictly new P & C business (no mono-lines from existing clients).
