If the vehicle is leased does it needs airbag deployment full coverage?

Huh?!!!! Is this a coverage that is offered by a rental car company, offered by a car dealership when signing a lease agreement or an endorsement that is offered under one of your auto carriers?? I have never heard of this as an optional endorsement on a auto policy.
