Which says a lot and makes me happy to have them .... unfortunately it's also a bad thing as Erie can't write everything or fill every niche.

That's because they know how competitive Erie is. Kemper wouldn't work with me for the same reasons.

I just use a surplus lines broker, Burns and Wilcox, for the commercial lines Erie doesn't want. They get all of my preferred personal lines just have a few carriers for non-standard.

State auto, encompass, auto owners, all said no because we have Erie.

Have you tried Safeco. You were with LM at one point, you might have a good shot at them.

They aren't great in NC. They are trying to win ceded business right now. They also took 3 homeowners rate increases in less than 12 months not long ago and are CTRing a huge portion of business.
