Pay As You Drive Auto Insurance

You should know the amount of mileage cause you might exceeding it. Because if you exceed it you might pay some extra fees. You should consider those things to get a cheap car insurance quotes.

So how is the mileage actually tracked again? You need to have OnStar only? Or would the agent inspect the mileage like at a UHaul shop does?

Sounds like a cell phone plan to me. Who is on min plans for phones? Nobody anymore. The price of going over is not worth the risk.

Im sure the client has to tell the agent the miles and will be asked again at renew and is recorded in the policy. Dont see how the comp can police every auto. Lots of extra service work sounds like.

There is a ton of private cash going into usage based rating right now. Many new cars are going to have iOS and Android built into the cars, and that will make way for pretty accurate accounting of miles driven, speed, etc. through relatively simple apps. It won't be an overnight transition, but there will be a lot more of this going forward.
