Vandalism ?

What is Vandalism (per ins. company definition)?
I hear more and more about these types of situations...

1. Car sits in front of home and is keyed by some ***
2. You park your car at a department store and come out and find a dent?
3. Are these considered Vandalism?
4. Which policy would cover the Car in Front of the house--- homeowners or Auto?

If someone keys the car in front of the owners house (or stuffs a potato in the tailpipe) then I do believe that car is covered, as long as the agreement says so.

What agreement are you talking about?

The coverage that covers vandalism is your comprehensive coverage. A dent in a parking lot may be considered collision coverage though, depending on how the dent occurred. If there is obvious paint from another vehicle then it will probably be considered collision.
