Autoresponder/ Constant-Contact Question...             Go to Top

Hi. How are you? That's good. It's almost midnight. How could Indy and Atlanta have lost? Amazing.

Oh. That's right. I have a question. Here it is. Hmmm. Should I have put a colon there? (Here it is: ) Or is that a semicolon? OK...Sorry. Let me get to the point.

Like most of you that buy shared leads, approximately 85%-95% of these prospects do not buy from you.

Here's what I want to do. Or is that "Here's what I want to do:" The placement of colons is generally optional, but sometimes confusing. Or is that "are" generally...

OK. I'm ready. No more monkey business.

The Norvax autoresponder (under my settings) sends its last email about five weeks after the initial quote. Occasionally, I send out an email two months later, just to test the waters.

I'm interested in finding a program that will allow me to key in email addresses and perhaps email them pre-selected emails at 3, 9 and 18 month intervals. Of course, an opt-out option will be present. The email will include a link so the one-time prospect and get a current quote.

What would be the best "program" to accomplish this?

Thanks.

The one you are already using - Norvax.

You can send out up to 12 months or longer I believe.

You can not use a 3rd party to link to the "quote" since the quote changes over time based on person(s) age and carrier rates.

Call Norvax. Problem Solved.

Outside of Norvax you can not do updated quotes and you will likely have a single or double opt in , which is as good as sending smoke signals.

The days of "typing in email addresses" with any service is essentially non existing unless you are selling Viagra or Cialis from a small island off the coast of Lebanon.

Originally, I thought about Norvax, but don't they cap the emails at five on the autoresponder?

Ay yes..."small island off the coast of Lebanon." We closed an office there three years ago. Too dangerous.

This has nothing to do with your post, but what was your experience working in Lebanon. Were you selling life insurance there?

I think the cap of 5 depends on the package you buy from them.

Wow, and I thought selling rentals in OH was pretty tough.

Curious, if you don't mind the intrusive question, how do you acquire a rental in Tyre...? I do ask myself the same thing about how... or why I acquired the rentals in OH at this moment...

TX...You're right. My package was 5. To increase to 10 is about $25 per month extra. I don't need 10, but 7 would be nice.

$25 per month is around 5 average policies in Ohio, tough call.

That's one of the problems I have with Norvax, call them today and it's $25 a month more, call them next week and it's $50 a month more, see them at a trade show and they will tell you it's already included in the price.

I have been quoted prices from $175 a month for the autoresponder to $50 a month with a $200 set-up fee.

I'm going to call them again today, see what they say.

Re: Autoresponder/ Constant-Contact Question...             Go to Top

I know Norvax is specific to the Health fields but Constant Contact is a good system. How you consider Aweber?

You just want to check about importing lists. Some systems will not let you import lists due to opt in rules. I think Constant Contact you can. Aweber you can't but there are work a rounds to get clients to optin to a new system that are pretty successful (weeds out what doesn't need to be there too).

Good luck with it!

I ended up staying with Norvax for the added feature.

Re: Autoresponder/ Constant-Contact Question...             Go to Top

I was originally told by Norvax that my package included autoresponders. After about 3 months, they took away this feature and told me it was an extra $15 month for this feature. I can't stand how shady Norvax operates.
