CMS has mandated that Medicare Advantage and Part D carriers must accept the certification as satisfying the CMS training requirement. I have verified that Aetna, Healthnet, and Wellcare will accept the certification in lieu of the AHIP certification. I believe that all other carriers will probably accept the certification as well.

Good luck.

Most of us couldn't wait and had to have certification done prior to Oct 1. Fortunately Coventry has a reimbursement plan if you sell 6 or more plans.... you just have to wait until April to get reimbursement.

Great advice and I didn't know that but am seeing in my contracting with various plans that they are accepting this. I actually went through Anthem Blue Cross and they will refund my fee PLUS will pay $25 per module if you take 2 of their other product modules. Not a bad deal if you use them.

If you are using IE, go to the Tools menu, then Internet Options. Click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down to the bottom and make sure that all of these are "checked":

Click "apply" and then refresh the browser page. It should load.
