Hello everyone.
I am planning to become an insurance agent in Atlanta and had some questions.

Would it be a good idea to get licensed before applying to work at an insurance company or do insurance companies often sponsor that training?

What companies would you recommend I apply for as someone breaking into the field in Atlanta? Are there any companies I should avoid? What companies have the best training?

GA is a pre-appoint state so you will need a carrier to sponsor you. If you are interested in selling Ind. Health or Group Benefits, I have friends in ATL that own agencies that specialize in each of those areas. If you want to sell Life, I can help you.
