I have heard so much Hype about Benepath, and the quality of the leads.
This is one of Benepath's Ads on Google for Illinois, are you willing to pay $18.00-$20.00 for this type of Prospect? Example of Poor Advertising at your expense, I would not waste my Money!! John you know more about this Company, What is this All About?
This Company just ruined any credibility with me, and I am sure others will agree

First of all, I'm not Benepath - I go by the sources that return the highest level of satisfaction with my members. When they use any recommended source they obviously reply with their results....hence we no longer recommend 2 sources we use to recommend. I'm obviously not going to recommend a source that returns poor results - just end up getting a lot of blow-back from members.
We also have an open community - very active forum and active social networking site. I do not control information - members spread information to other members so if anyone's not happy regarding any affiliate is simply spreads around the IHIAA community quickly.
As of now, they are our top rated lead affiliate based on member satisfaction - as in our members are overall extremely happy. Perfection? No.
Although we recommend them that's about as far as it goes - our members don't even receive a discount through them. I will continue to recommend them until I hear dissatisfaction from members.

I totally understand, I wanted others to see the Ads that Benepath uses that are just a bit misleading in my opinion, at best you might get a 21 year old to respond to such an ad. I just think Vendors that are charging that much per lead, should advertise with more quality terms.
Maybe Benepath is Lurking and will give us a Solid explanation of this.
Well let's put it this way - which is more powerful; when a single agent complaints to a lead company about an issue or when an entire network of agents complain? I think you see where I'm going with this.
IHIAA has ties to Benepath don't be fooled. One of their principals is a Benepath client for over a year.
It is true once you join you have no controls to stop leads. They constantly increase you amounts and charges. Be ware!
It's beware, not be ware. Doesn't even sound to me as if you tried the leads. Have you? There is no long term commitment and you can cancel your Benepath account by giving a week's notice. I am pretty sure Clelland would have told you all about the terms and are also clearly stated in writing. In my experience with Benepath, the price per lead never increases a single penny and Benepath seems to be on the up and up.
You seem like a basher that has no experience.

As I am running adwords myself I can tell you that most important thing to attract attention and make the prospect to fill the details. Then sales people up selling the prospect as in one way or another the prospect is interested in insurance and by figuring out his needs you offer different product...
From the other hand this ad doesn't look that bad. It says "get rates as low as $44" and if you can provide at least one quote for $44 you are perfectly right...
I used Benepath last year with terrible results. Maybe you can get better results in a different area. There are a few other lead vendors that I currently use with better results and half the price.
I know this is an old post, but I agreed with Dave's point on the ad and had it pulled as soon as I found out about it. That was last summer and it has not run since.
It is obvious you do have ties to Benepath. A couple of months ago they attempted to pressure their buyers to pay more. A lot of them left, tired of the constant complaints of Clelland that he could not afford to do it any more for their agreed prices. It's kind of like bait and switch.
Between the poor quality that the leads have become, do to their attempt to increase the number, and their lack of controls on fakes, you will sell maybe 10%.
Do not believe anything else. Be prepaired to get dumped on with 100's of dollars of leads when you least expect it. You have no control when or how many leads you get. It will costs you hundreds more than you plan to quit also.
I had spent Thousand of dollars with them. Since leaving I spend less on leads, can control when I get them and have actually increased my closing %.
IHIAA is very much a part of Bnepaths advertising. They have written articles and support materials for Clelland, and one of the founders was one of Clellands customers.
Be ware of any association claiming to be independent. They get perks as agents from Bnepath.
I think IHIAA just got caught with their pants around their ankles.::

Hmm...after 10 months...why the urgency to let us know?
