Best Health Insurance Carriers for FloridaGo to Top
I'm newly licensed Florida Health agent. Got appointed with GR and it looks pretty good, but I'd like to have additional options for clients. I can use some advice regarding other companies which can fill the gaps, or offer cost/feature competitive alternatives. Thanx.

Artitude, you want to have all available options for your client so get appointed with all the main carriers. Although Assurant is not competitive in FL you'll still want to at least get appointed with them. There are absolutely scenarios where GR and other carriers might decline and Assurant's the only option remaining.

No, they only do brokerage appointments for group.
Competitive? Yes. Their individual plan is sold only thru their contracted general agencies, where you are captive. The compensation is horrendous - you'll starve, and if you've got any kids, they'll be skinny.
