I am wondering what is the best way to get appointed with Fidelity and others that will allow me to sell over the telephone. Thank you in advance. All of your comments are appreciated.

You could call Fidelity and chat with their licensing dept. Maybe you can go direct or they will give you names to call.

FLA doesn't contract directly. You can call them for GA referrals, but you may consider one that specializes in phone sales. That happens to be our expertise.

I suggest contacting the carrier directly or partnering with a strong IMO. Good luck.
