This is classic NAA jargon. "The client knows exactly what they are responding to", "stand head and shoulders above the rest". These are right off the NAA web site and off the Phillip Hudgin's script. I noticed they do have a large number of contracted companies and products which is refreshing if they access all of them to truely give the client what fits.

Their leads look alot like NAA lead cards.

To tell people that they are "entitled to participate" when they have to qualify (even if simplified issue) is a quick and easy way to get into compliance problems and also to get lots of leads back from people who are very ineligible but think they are .....err....well........entitled.

This would be the reason an agent friend of mine in MD ran around to the worst areas of Baltimore running NAA leads.

Actually looks like he is working the Mortgage Protection Specialists out of california. If you look at the bottom oft he lead card it say information obtained from mortgage protection specialist. I hooked up with them for a short period, when i was there they had an outside lead vendor and you paid for a mailing not per lead. Mailing cost was around $650/ thousand i believe. I did this for a couple of mailings and finally figured out how to do the mailings myself. My return triple, i got my leads in 5-7 days and i was always the first one out. I put alot of leg work into those leads but they were as good as it gets and i was also on 100% contracts.

Re: Better than NAA?             Go to Top

I had no problems with Mortgage Protection Bureau, i just found it much more profitable to put the mailers together myself. Like i mentioned, my cost is around .$28 per mailer or $280/thousand. Granted I do alot of leg work, probably 8-10 hours a week but i also avg. over 3% return. Reason the return is so good is because i can get my leads out alot faster than the big companies, the big companies won't mail much less than a thousand at a crack. I can mail as few as 200 as still take advantage of bulk mail rates. In my area there are only around 250 new mortgages each week. which means naa would probably only mail this area once per month, i mail it every week. I also didn't like selling non med policies to the consumer. Alot of our policies in our area we write are less than a 100k. I use a company called cincinnati life, anything under 100k there is no physical needed but is fully underwritten and there rates are less than alot of companies pref. rates for that amount of coverage. Most agents won't use cincinnati life though because they don't annualize. But as i stated no problems with Mortgage Protection Buruea, i actuall still hold several contracts through them and will use them occasionally, i just don't use the leads through them. Send me a PM if you want more specifics
