Charlie, on a side note, I read with great interest the story of your wife's travel plight on your website.

Without "kissin' up", I've got to tell you how impressed I was with your story of taking personal responsibility - as opposed to whining "the government doesn't help me".

It reminded me of one of my favorite books - of a fellow Big D guy - Ross Perot, and the book "On The Wings Of Eagles".

Thank you moon... that means allot. it was allot more detailed than the reporter wrote. While I was watching CNN at the very moment I was talking with Sonitta CNN reported bombs were going off at the resort my wife was staying. I heard the bombs on the phone with her and a few moments later saw and heard it on TV.. scary. Also the point of release mentioned in the article it didnt mention that my wife had a gun pulled on her and i assisted in the escape by sneaking to some buses that were parked and told her to hide in the floor in the back and wait for the rescue... it was so much more stressfull...

I was contacted by BBC and several movie studios to do a movie about it... I declined because Sonitta would not agree to the movie deal. Bummer......

Also special thanks to Rep Joe Barton, who I knew from my time in politics... I assume he contacted Bush who I guess assisted in the release... I just dont know.. I just know every swinging mule from the King of Swedon on down with the Swedish GOvt just wanted me to back down and not contuine contacting news outlets.. Once it was picked up by the newspaper in Euorpe they all started calling... The BBC started hitting the story hard running interviews with me.
