What companies offers low premiums for these products. We are appointed with a few but their service isn't the best. Sometimes we have to wait over a month for a commission check. HELP PLEASE

I heard that Travelers and Hartford are super competitive for business insurance. How are you currently writing BOP's?

We use few GA's.. I'm new to the business, but I cannot figure out why we wont get appointed with them directly..My boss is set in his ways.. Hartford wont give an appointment for commercial lines in California unless you show them good valume in personal lines/

Goto Netquote and other online insurance quoting sites and get a dummy quote. Compare the quotes then call the companies with the most competitive rates for an appointment.

If you are working with a few GA's now and have a good volume book, you shouldn't have a problem getting a Hartford appointment now. I am in NorCal and we got the Hartford based on our commercial performance and volume promises, the personal came with it. It has been the same way for some other carriers as well. Did a Hartford marketing rep tell you that the only way to get Hartford commercial is by getting personal first?
