CA, Healthy Families Program

Just curious if any California agents are set up to take applications for state programs such as Healthy Families. Just wondering if it is worth while to get set up as an Enrolment Entity. I know the revenue aspect is fairly minimal 50-60 dollars per app. But im thinking it may possible be a source of referrals for other products. Or Not.. Any ideas or Suggestions would be great.

Hello Drew,

I've been set up as an EE for almost a year now and have'nt seen too much in the way of dollars (average about 1-2 hundred a month) but where it really pays off is the referrals.

I think it's totally worth your time just for the referrals. Try and get set up with a community relations specialist to handle the new applications for you (so you get paid without doing any of the paperwork) and keep a good relationship with the community relations person because they are like GOLD.
